WHAT A RUSH!!! NO PICTURES Just came in from the field for lunch, when I received a call to say what there was a Red-Flanked Bluetail on St Martin's. I managed to catch the boat with my work clothes on and a beef sandwich in my hand. The Red-Flanked Bluetail is one of the most stunning birds I have seen, a lifer to add to my list on The Isles of Scilly.
I am a beginner bird watcher who goes out every day digiscoping using a nikon P6000 & a nikon spotting scope & my first bird was a Temminck stint back in April 2009.
I am enjoying everyday learning a lot from many good bird watchers who live on Scilly
